sweet

I prefer metalcore/ hardcore to classic metal and I think this piece is defined as the former compared to the songs ive found on newgrounds.
There are some issues with melding of different parts, but it's pretty good for 2 days!

this is hot stff here.

I think the vocals need more presence, perhaps brought more to the front of the mix.
However, that can be overlooked because of the great job you have done with everything else.

Metaljonus responds:

Thanks! vocals are now brought up!

nice combination.

sweet mix of genres here. props!
However, the genres mentioned are deceiving.
Its really a mix of chiptunes and punk.

Evil-Dog responds:

True, I'm sure that ruined your life haha

yes.

The intro shows skill in composing orchestral arrangements. I like.
What do you use for generating those sounds anyway?
Sub -drops = hawt. good work.

TheRealSam responds:

For the orchestra, I used GPO (Garritan Personnal Orchestra).
Very nice vst, I can pretty much do everything I want with it :)
Thanks a lot for the review man ^^

what.

Dude. This southern metal type stuff is great. I was getting down to it and it just stopped. If you are going to finish any of these, let it be something along the veins of modern hardcore/metalcore.

nice

sweet vocal melody complimented with simple and fun lyrics = niiice.
interesting song here, but in terms of recording quality, I think the song need work. I think you need to learn to use the Eq a little better, something I have JUST put into practice with good results. I've been honing my mixing skills with all genres (none of which i have on ng) and am willing to help you with that aspect of the song too if you want.

whoa

nice song but...
i think you're peaking! put limiter on the master channel or lower something!

nice and bright

I suggest you get a parametric eq and shave off frequencies from each layer so that they are can be sonically separate. I use nyquist eq because its simple and very effective.
I've been looking for x3ta + but I still cant find it. :(

Father-of-Death responds:

you can't find x3ta because it's called z3ta

sounds like....

some sytrus presets and unmixed drum samples...
Overall, it is not too coherent. You need a some structure for the song to guide the listener through the piece. Most importantly, focus on the awesomeness of the score while not getting caught how cool the vsts sound, and you will prosper. or at least make a cool track.

why hello thar

I like it.
I lol'ed at the fruity vocal sample :)
The song pushes, but should have more variation to signify different verses.
yea, good mix too, man.

syphonmax responds:

Should listen to my new songs :P
